Hublot Square Bang Unico Titanium

History

Hublot is an exuberant watchmaker with years of distinction and experience. With years of producing timeless timepieces, Hublot has clubbed two of its major milestones under the Hublot Shaped collection. The first is the Square Bang series, a set of series first recently launched in 2022 and the other is the suave Spirit of Big Bang, launched in 2011.

Square Bang

Inspired by the Big Bang collection, the Hublot Square Bang is the only square watch inside Hublot’s exquisite collection of watches. This cleverly proportionate is equipped with the signature 6-screw bezel. Apart from the signatures, the 42mm square case is home to a classic flyback chronograph on the dial. This chronograph is fixed over an intricately crafted skeleton dial. Featuring the finely built UNICO movement, the Square Bang is in deep waters of fine watchmaking.

The Spirit Of Big Bang

Hublot has a knack for crafting unique timepieces. This time, Hublot crafted the Spirit of Big Bang, a tonneau-shaped timepiece with a variety of flavours to offer. Starting with simpler iterations, the 3-Hands offer a simplistic dial with a date window at 6 o’clock. This simplicity can be diversified with diamond-fitted timepieces available in various iterations. Offering an insight into complex watchmaking, the tonneau-shaped watches are also offered in tourbillon-fitted iterations. The tourbillons are fitted at the 6 o’clock marker and a small seconds sub-dial between the 7 and 8 o’clock marker. Another addition inside the Spirit of Big Bang is the Meca-10. Featuring a rack-style power reserve indicator, the Meca-10 stands inside the holy grail of intricate watchmaking. The Meca-10 is also home to another window-styled power reserve indicator at the 3 o’clock marker. Adding more to the complex architecture of watchmaking, The Spirit of Big Bang also features a brilliant chronograph. Inside the tonneau-shaped case, there are three sub-dials displaying meters needed for a chronograph. One exception is a timepiece made with a sapphire case called the Spirit of Big Bang Magic Sapphire.

Materials

Known for its ability to curate the best materials available into its timepieces, Hublot has again made a statement by incorporating the best materials. This time, the Hublot Shaped collection is equipped with various materials such as gold, titanium, and ceramic. Apart from these off-the-mill materials, the collection is also home to unique materials such as sapphire, carbon white, and orange sapphire. One material that displays the commitment of the brand is gold crystal. Perfectly reproducing the effects of crystallisation with gold, the Gold Crystal timepieces are amazingly unique and aesthetically pleasing at the same time.
