About the Doxa SUB 300T Collection
The Doxa SUB 300T stands as a celebrated icon in the realm of dive watches, known for its enduring appeal and functional prowess. Honouring its 1960s predecessor, the current SUB 300T pays homage to the 1969 Doxa SUB 300T Conquistador with a faithful redesign. The watch quickly gained a cult following for its exceptional combination of form and function.
Design
The Doxa SUB 300T shares a strong design DNA with its predecessor. Key elements like the oversized case and distinctive shape are direct descendants of the original SUB 300 model. The asymmetrical dial layout, with Doxa positioned at the top left and the model name at the bottom right, adds a unique character to the watch. The case and integrated crown guard present a bold, robust appearance that complements its utilitarian purpose. The use of bright colours and the UFO-like case shape contribute to the watch's approachable and relaxed personality. It comes in seven colours: Professional (orange), Sharkhunter (black), Searambler (silver), Caribbean (navy blue), Divingstar (yellow), Aquamarine (light blue), and Whitepearl (white). Additionally, the watch offers both bracelet and strap options, including a stainless steel ‘beads of rice' bracelet and rubber straps with folding clasps available in matching hues.
Features
Functionally, the SUB 300T excels with several notable features. Its dial is engineered for optimal legibility, with a large, luminescent minute hand and differently shaped lume markers for the hour and seconds hands. This design ensures clarity even in challenging underwater conditions. The watch also boasts a unidirectional rotating bezel with Doxa's no-decompression scale, a crucial tool for divers. The robust case offers an impressive 1,200 metres of water resistance and includes a subtle helium escape valve. The 300T's practical features and classic design make it a versatile piece, suitable for serious diving and casual wear.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
The calibre ETA 2824-2 is an automatic winding movement that features 25 jewels and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It generates a healthy reserve of 38 hours. This particular movement has been continuously produced since 1982 and is widely favoured by renowned watch brands. The inclusion of the "-2" in its name signifies that it is an advanced iteration of the original ETA 2824 calibre.
