About the Doxa SUB 300T Collection
History
After successfully launching the Doxa SUB 300 in 1960, Doxa decided to launch a better-equipped version of the SUB 300. In 1969, Doxa launched the SUB 300T Conquistador. The Conquistador was launched during the times when helium release valve and unidirectional rotating bezel were recently invented.
Essence
If it is about differentiating a Porsche from a Toyota, it is really not that difficult. But what we experience here between the SUB 300 and the Doxa SUB 300T is more like differentiating between a Porsche 911 and a Porsche 718. The similarities are in abundance but what makes these two collections stand apart from each other are just price, size, and water resistance capabilities.
Features
The Doxa SUB 300T is equipped with the patented unidirectional bezel with a diving table and a case that can withstand a depth of up to 1200 meters. The date window on the SUB 300T is fixed on the 3 o’clock marker and the seconds counter is in the inner bezel which helps in calculating the time and depth of the dive. A dedicated diving watch, the SUB 300T collection is available in a series named Professional, Searambler, Sharkhunter, Caribbean, Divingstar, and Aquamarine.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
The calibre ETA 2824-2 is an automatic winding movement that features 25 jewels and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It generates a healthy reserve of 38 hours. This particular movement has been continuously produced since 1982 and is widely favoured by renowned watch brands. The inclusion of the "-2" in its name signifies that it is an advanced iteration of the original ETA 2824 calibre.
