About the Bremont Supermarine Collection
Bremont released their first dive watch in 2009 with the Supermarine 500, whose name and conception were closely tied to the brand's celebrated aeronautical legacy and the founders' recognised love for aircraft. It was named after the famous British aircraft manufacturer who created the legendary Spitfire. Today, Supermarine stands as a revered collection of performance-driven dive watches that further nods to the brand's roots with discerning aviation-inspired details.
Features And Iterations
The Bremont Supermarine collection houses robust yet refined watches that come with round cases held by options of strap and bracelet. They carry an engaging aesthetic where every element contributes to a streamlined design language. These watches tick all the boxes of an excellent dive watch, featuring a unidirectional bezel, luminous dial, helium escape valve, and water resistance up to 300 or 500 metres. These elements are accompanied by Bremont's signature Trip-Tick® case construction and chronometer-rated movements.
The collection is also rife with many subtle but impressive iterations foregrounded in practical functionality. The likes of Supermarine 300M Date, S302, and S502 coalesce valuable complications such as date and GMT with the amplified amphibian credentials characteristic to the collection.
Associations
Akin to the other Bremont collections, Supermarine is known for power-packed alliances that resonate well with the brand's overall character of strength and performance. The limited edition Waterman Apex II, a handsome-looking, sturdy timepiece, was designed in collaboration with Laird Hamilton, one of Bremont's brand ambassadors and a legendary big wave surfer. In 2022, Bremont teamed up with the UK-based Bramford Watch Department, a creative brand known for customising luxury watches. So far, this association has resulted in the birth of two brilliant Supermarine watches—a special edition S500 and the Bamford Aurora. The Supermarine collection has also benefitted from the partnership between Bremont and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) bringing unique iterations of S300 and S500 watches.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
Bremont's calibre BE-93-2AV, based on the ETA 2893, is a self-winding GMT movement featuring an independent 24-hour hand that can be set to different time zones. This movement powers Bremont's travel watches, such as the Supermarine S302. The use of superior materials like Nivaflex for the mainspring and Glucydur for the balance ensures higher accuracy and durability. Consequently, this movement is COSC-certified. It operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph and offers a minimum power reserve of 38 hours.
