About the Bovet Dimier Collection

History

Originally, Bovet was founded in 1822 but with the help of Pascal Raffy, the brand was resurrected in 2001. With the resurrection, Raffy decided to name a collection after the Manufacture he acquired, the Dimier 1738 Manufacture. Since then, the Dimier collection has been endowed with the finest timepieces.

Features & Design

The Bovet Dimier collection is home to various series such as Recital 21, Recital 23, Recital 23 Turquoise, Recital 27, and Recital 29. The Bovet Dimier Recital 21 is equipped with features such as day, month, leap year, and retrograde date. The Recital 21 is also placed with a patented coaxial seconds placed at 9 o’clock. The oval-shaped Recital 23 is equipped with a three-dimensional moon at 12 o’clock. Apart from the three-dimensional moon, the Dimier Recital 23 is home to a precisely designed hand-decorated dial and set with 10 round diamond indexes. Whereas, Recital 27 is equipped with features such as a day & night indicator and three-time zones. Recital 27 offers a power reserve of 7 days with just one single power barrel. The Bovet Dimier collection is what many consider to be a modern design, but in truth, it retains a lot of classical aspects of watchmaking. The concentric dial coupled with both Arabic and Roman numerals across the collection speaks the language of a long-drawn tradition of hand-crafted timepieces.
