About the Raymond Weil Parsifal Collection
History
Raymond Weil created the Parsifal collection as a tribute to the great opera composer and director, Richard Wagner, in 1991. The challenge embraced by the collection was to adequately depict the struggles and qualities of a man well ahead of his times, and the brand succeeds in doing so owing to its revolutionary technology and masterful aesthetics. With an elegance that is ideal for men and women, this collection pleases the most avid of watch enthusiasts. Although this line was discontinued for a while, it started afresh in 2010.
Features
Raymond Weil celebrates Wagner's last opera, the Parsifal. With signature gadroons on the bezel and Roman numerals as hour markers, classicism is instilled with passion. Apart from the dial, the timepieces also feature a unique cross-link bracelet that reminds one of the original Parsifal from 1991. The Parsifal collection adds to its dressier persona with a protected crown and a date window placed at the 3 o'clock marker. Pursuing the essence of femininity, the collection also features a few timepieces that are home to mother-of-pearl dials and diamond-studded dial and bezel.
