Design
The Longines Master Collection L2.717.4.71.5 has been designed specifically for men looking for comfort and class in the same watch. The case of this device is round and made of stainless steel with the dial in a silver ‘barleycorn’ colour. The hour markers are painted Roman Numerals and the hands of the watch are made of steel and painted blue. The case window is made of scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The back of the case is transparent, enabling the enjoyable viewing of the watch machinery. The covering for the back of the case is also made of the same scratch resistant sapphire crystal that protects the dial. The strap of the watch is made of brown crocodile leather.

The Longines Master Collection L2.717.4.71.5 is high on functionality providing a number of different functions in the watch. The watch caliber is L698, a self winding mechanical movement with 4 retrograde functions beating at 28’800 vibrations per hour. This watch is equipped with a power reserve of 48 hours. The four retrograde hands display day, date, small second and 24 hours second time zone at 12 o’clock, left side of the dial, 6 o’clock and right side of the dial respectively. Also, the watch is water resistant up to a 3 bar pressure.
