The wrist is where our heart lies. Watch-spotting our way to glory, here are our favourite (choosing was a nightmare!) pieces of Haute Horlogerie worn on the biggest night of Cinema. The Bvlgari Chronograph is a classic watch with one of Bvlgari’s most iconic designs. The double branding on the bezel is unique and definitely stands out. Add to that the 18k rose gold case and you have a watch crazy enough to sit comfortably on the wrist of Mad Max!

Editor’s pick: Bvlgari Diagono

The word Diagono comes from the Ancient Greek root “agon” which means a contest or a competition. A suitable pick for the biggest award ceremony in the world of cinema we reckon! The Diagono Ultranero Chronograph in red gold features a 42mm round steel case with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) surface treatment with the bezel crafted in solid red gold. Powered by an in-house self-winding CalibreB130 movement, the watch guarantees a power reserve of up to 42 hours.

5. Looking like a million bucks, Dev Patel flaunts the IWC Portugieser

IWC is synonymous with understated, classic timepieces and the watch worn by Dev Patel for the 88^th Academy Awards this year was no exception.
