The Rolex Date Just M116233-63603_SIL JUB 10BR watch for men spells precision and superior craftsmanship in watch making.
Rolex came up with the very first wristwatches, which could show the date on the dial automatically with their Date Just range. The Rolex Date Just range was created and launched first in 1945. This watch is not just a mere tool for checking time; it is a symbolic accessory for men who embody class and sophistication.
This exclusive timepiece is made of durable 904L steel and radiant 18 ct yellow gold. A little bit of polishing will maintain the sheen of this watch and keep it beautiful for a long time. The 36mm dial is just like the original that Rolex launched. Its silver colour lends it a definitive elegant appearance. The diamonds encrusted on the dial lend a beautiful touch.
The 904L steel with high chrome content ensures that your Rolex watch remains functional even in the harshest of environments. This super alloy is corrosion-resistant. Rolex has built this watch with 18 ct of yellow gold that provides it with incredible lustre. This watch is made of waterproof oyster casing that further safeguards the watch against damage from weather elements. This beautiful timepiece will last generations.
The scratchproof sapphire crystal with which the dial is covered has anti-reflective properties further enhancing the visual comforts of the wearer. The clear Cyclops lens affixed to the dial magnifies the date two and half times making it easier for you to spot the date when you are on the go. This clever invention by Rolex dates back to 1950s. The automatic movement harnesses energy from the wearer’s hand motion and self winds the mainspring.
Interesting Facts
Rolex is the only watch manufacturer in the world that has its own foundry. This enables it to make it own steel and gold.

The Datejust collection was introduced by Rolex in the year 1945. This was the first wristwatch to display automatically changing date through an opening on the dial.

Featuring a classic design and iconic style, the Datejust features a date window located at the 3 o’clock position for your ease in viewing. The date aperture showcases the Cyclops lens on the top, the most distinctive feature of Rolex watches. This lens magnifies the date by approximately two and half times for clear legibility. The watches in this collection have an oyster case, which is clamped shut and extremely robust. The core of the oyster consists of a screw-down case and a signed screw-down crown with twinlock system. This system renders the watches water-resistant up to 100 metres, enabling you to wear them for poolside swimming and snorkelling. The Datejust watches come with two classic Rolex bracelets, either the Jubilee or the Oyster. The Jubilee is a five-piece metal link bracelet with a concealed Crownclasp fitted at the end, and the Oyster is a broad three-piece metal link bracelet, which is quite popular because of its classic appeal. These watches have a standard 36 mm case, and are equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement manufactured by Rolex, the calibre 3135.

A Datejust was presented to an eminent gentleman by Hans Wilsdorf in 1947, on the 100,000th officially certified chronometer celebrated by the brand. The identity of this gentleman has not been revealed till this day. Christian Bale was seen wearing the Rolex Datejust 16013, in the movie American Pyscho. A Datejust has also been worn by Paul Newman in the movie The Color of Money, Bill Murray in the film Lost in Translation, and by various male characters in The Informers.
