About the Bremont Armed Forces Collection

Bremont's prowess and celebrated history in creating timepieces for international military outfits landed them a unique partnership with the British Ministry of Defence in 2019. Utilising the delineation shared by the MoD, Bremont forged a collection of rugged, military-inspired timepieces called the Armed Forces. It features chronometer-rated watches catalogued into three broad categories, each serving one division of the military. The Bremont Armed Forces watches are the only ones in the world to officially use the signs and emblems of the British Armed Forces. Every watch within the collection is constructed using robust materials and proudly flaunts the Heraldic badges on the caseback.

Tale Of The ‘Dirty Dozen'

The inspiration for the Bremont Armed Forces collection is drawn from the original ‘Dirty Dozen' watches. During World War II, the British Army commissioned 12 watchmakers to create timepieces adhering to strict performance specifications: luminous dial markings, waterproof chronometer regulation, and robust case construction. These watches were infamously named the Dirty Dozen. Using the same criteria, Bremont has designed the Broadsword, Agronaut, and Arrow watches, reflecting today's military needs.

Timepieces For The Land, Sea, And Air

Designed with the British Army in mind, the Bremont Broadsword is robust, utilitarian, and reflects the lineage of the original Dirty Dozen. Its functional design features a pure round case, strong lugs and an ergonomic knurled crown. Its simple, legible dial ensures practicality and heightened visibility, aligning with the armed forces' pragmatic sensibility. The Bremont Arrow within the Armed Forces collection is designed for ‘the accomplished airman.' These watches are capable, aviation-inspired models with a chronograph complication. They are designed with an edge, featuring a mono-pusher mechanism and a bicompax style. The last member of the Bremont Armed Forces, honouring the Royal Navy, is the Argonaut. It is a performance-oriented dive watch whose name is inspired by Greek mythology. It comes with an internal rotating diving bezel operated by a crown at four o'clock.
