About the Tudor Iconaut Collection
Rolex creator and founder, Hans Wilsdorf, decided to mark Rolex’s prowess into more accessible luxury watches by designing the Tudor line, a distinct watch collection deriving inspiration from the Tudor heritage and sense of style. This brand diverges from Rolex in nothing but price. Rolex being a slow adaptor, the Tudor line fascinates watch experts with their continual design improvements and technical genius. Preserving the value of performance and aesthetics, the Tudor Iconaut was launched into the market with a comprehensively masculine appearance.
The Tudor Iconaut sports a sturdy manliness in its bold movements and design. Housed in a 43 mm diameter stainless steel case, it is an iconic travel watch that can be comfortably used for daily wear as well. The different sized fonts on the model make it a highly legible read. The dial is presented in various colour combinations such as red/black, white/red and silver/black. A stainless steel hefty bezel is adopted with numerals in heavyset font on it and an oyster bracelet attached. The Tudor Iconaut Chronograph GMT is a robust 44 mm case watch, ensuring readability on the dial. The functions include a chronograph, date display, small seconds and a GMT hand. It is quite uncommon for a chronograph watch to house GMT as well which is what makes this watch extraordinary. One need never worry about time zones while travelling, this can easily be set while or before a trip.
