The Raymond Weil 2770-STP-65021 for men is from the Freelancer collection of the brand and features an elegant and refined design by using both steel and gold tones. It has a 38 mm stainless steel case with bevelled edges. There is a fixed bezel mounted on top of the case with yellow gold PVD plating. The case has a silver dial enclosed inside with a beautiful clou de Paris pattern at the centre, giving it a distinct appearance. Stick shaped indexes plated in yellow gold have been used to mark the hours, and black minute tracks in sticks and Arabic numerals have printed at the rim of the dial.
Graceful Baton shaped hands for hour and minute adorn the dial in yellow gold. Both the hands and hour markers feature a luminous fill, for easy reading of the time in low light conditions. A date window with a yellow gold rim is situated between the 3 o’clock and 5 o’clock positions. To protect the dial and the caseback, a scratch resistant sapphire crystal has been used, adding greater durability to the timepiece. The crystal features antiglare treatment for enhanced sunlight legibility. A stainless steel bracelet with yellow gold PVD plating is attached to the watch.
A Swiss made mechanical movement with automatic winding is situated at the heart of the timepiece. You can view the movement through the transparent caseback, an indulgence for the connoisseurs. The timepiece comes with a power reserve of 38 hours, which ensures that the movement does not get disrupted even if you don’t wear it for more than a day. Furthermore it is water resistant to a depth of 100 metres, ensuring that you can wear it while snorkelling or swimming.
In 2007, Raymond Weil launched the magnificent Freelancer collection of watches. The name of the collection is a tribute to the uninhibited spirt of the artist, the maverick and the pioneer who expresses his creativity impassionedly and freely. The Freelancer collection includes watches for men and women and delights them both in equal measures.
The Freelancer Range of watches from Raymond Weil is extremely diverse in terms of the number of styles and designs it offers. These watches come in stainless-steel or titanium cases with mirror finish. Select models offer a gold plating in rose or yellow for a touch of opulence. The strap is made in either immaculately stitched leather or polished stainless steel, some watches featuring a dual combination of steel and gold. The case window is fabricated in sapphire crystal glass which is anti-reflective on both sides and hence offers a clear view of the time, while zealously guarding the case against wear and tear.
The Freelancer Range from Raymond Weil was the first amongst the watches to be brought out by the firm to have a visible balance wheel. A small aperture in the dial allowed the user a view of the moving mechanical part of the watch. It also marked the beginning of a mechanical range of watches for the ladies from this brand. Further enhancing the utility of the watch, the Freelancer series of watches has a luminescent dial, which allows viewing of time even in the dark. The more affluent watches of the Freelancer series come with an automatic chronograph feature that can be employed according to the user’s requirement. These watches are water-resistant up to a depth of 100 meters or 330 feet.
