Rado

History
Rado is one of the oldest Swiss watch making companies. They have launched several notable collections over the years, with each collection bringing something new on the table. Even though Rado is one of the biggest names in the watch making world now, its origin was humble. It was started as a small clockwork producing factory in a small Swiss town of Lengnau, in the year 1917. It was the collective initiative of three brothers, Fritz, Ernst and Werner Schlup, who had christened their company as Schlup & Co. In 1957, after almost 40 years, the company launched its first watch collection, and there was no turning back since then. It was at this time that the company was renamed Rado. The brand, over the years, has become famous for using innovative materials in the art of watch making, like sapphire crystal, hi-tech ceramic, lanthanum and more.

Design
The Rado R48793723 is a gold and silver time piece for men. The round stainless steel case has a diameter of 34 mm, and is gold plated. It has a gold dial, with three 0.25 diamonds marking the hours at 12, 3, and 9 o’ clock positions.
The graceful case rests on a stainless steel and gold chain bracelet. The bracelet has a titanium, double folding clasp with push button. The bezel has mirror effect. It has a gold pull and push crown on the side. It is an extremely elegant and sophisticated time piece.

Features
The watch belongs to the Flourence collection, and has quartz movement. Along with the hour and minute function, it performs the date function through a window at the 6th hour. It has been treated with sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to a depth of 30 m.
