The TAG Heuer Carrera line of watches has always revolved around the high-octane world of racing. The illustrious story began when Jack Heuer—the great-grandson of TAG Heuer founder Edouard Heuer, and a gifted watchmaker himself—created the Carrera watch in 1963 in honour of the famous Carrera Panamericana automobile race. Carrera Heuer 02T

TAG Heuer is a brand that has been known for creating quality luxury timepieces with a reasonable price tag, and this watch certainly is testament to that. The 45mm Carrera Heuer 02T COSC—which features a tourbillon movement, along with a chronograph function—is built from grade-5 titanium and carbon fibre. Carrera Heuer 01

This is not your usual auto-inspired piece, with simply a logo added, but its design has been heavily influenced by elements of Aston Martin cars. Carrera Calibre 5

A mix of polished and brushed steel shapes the 41mm case of the watch, which is paired with either an elegant leather strap or a metal link bracelet. All dial options feature polished, hand-applied faceted indexes and polished hour and minute hands. A refreshing change from the otherwise sporty look of the Carrera series, the Calibre 1887 exudes elegance and panache with its simple aesthetic. This line-up consists of watches that look sleek and stunning, with clean dials, large numerals and neat sub-dials. This particular 41mm variant boasts a polished steel case with 100m of water resistance. The use of sapphire crystal, both in front and at the back, makes this a tough timepiece that looks especially refined.
