About the TAG Heuer Carrera Collection
History
TAG Heuer Carrera Collection was first launched in 1963 and had a very simplistic design containing just the registers and applied markers on the dial. This collection soon went on to become one of TAG Heuer's first ever ranges of automatic chronographs and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013 has brought out new models every decade since it was introduced to the world.
Design
The Carrera is one of Tag Heuer's shining trademark ranges of Chronographs. The sleek and sporty finish checks off large and easy-to-read hour markers while greatly accentuating the luminous hands. The design also comes with a TAG Heuer logo at the crown with a Carrera marking on the dial. The Carrera's stainless steel strap adds to the powerful look that embodies this series. Fabric, titanium and leather are also available as strap options. The anti-scratch curved sapphire crystal and double anti-reflective treatment allow the wearer to use the watch with more freedom without fear of scratches or lack of visibility.
Features
The collection provides superior water-resistance capabilities with chronograph functions. Apart from the chronograph functions, the Carrera collection also features an automatic variant with a clean complacent dial. For women, the automatic variants are also equipped with mother-of-pearl dials and diamonds. For men, the addition of a tachymeter and various complications adds to the virtuosity of the collection.
Carrera X Porsche
TAG decided to collaborate with German car maker, Porsche. Inside the TAG Heuer Carrera collection is a variety of limited edition timepieces that redefine the actuality of the brand. With brilliantly finished chronographs, the Porshce timepieces are watches to reckoned with.

TAG Heuer is a brand synonymous with racing unveiling watches for the Monaco grand prix, the coveted Steve McQueen series and lots of high quality model.
the watch is popular to all Indians(especially Srk fans).ya this is the same watch potrayed by the brand ambassador and the one he wears almost to all occasions.
The watch is multifaceted :can be used as dress watch or a racing sports watch. the black and red accents in the watch stands out distinctively .
The in house movement calibre 16 is one of the best with 50hrs of power reserve and highly precise chronograph.
The solid steel bracelet with with the 43mm case is an epitome of technology and luxury..
The strap can alter the mood of the watch and Tag heuer allows the flexibility to change the strap at home.the chain strap for bold formal looks party wear, black leather strap for your formal meetings or with your coats, red accent leather strap or rubber for sports.
This is one watch you must invest for to have a multifaceted watch from a remarkable brand (famous for high precision mechanical movements). Must buy -

This watch is the epitome of elegance. It is the perfect dress watch (that you can wear to a formal meeting or wedding) or a casual wear (with your jeans for a romantic evening out!). What differentiates this watch is the grounds-up movement that has been worked by TAG and how they have given attention to every single detail of the watch. Whether it is the sapphire crystal or ceramic bezel which offers a longer durability......the 50 hours power reserve or the security clasp bracelet, the watch oozes pronounced luxury & cutting edge technology, all over. The watch also offers the flexibility to change straps (sold separately), right at home which unlike other watches is not just a simple strap change but a complete transformation. For example, the red accented leather type strap gives a sporty finish, the steel bracelet offers the classy touch & the rubber strap pays tribute to the racing DNA that TAG has come to associate itself with!
