Design And Iterations

The defining feature of the Openworked collection lies in its unconventional dial architecture. A standout feature is the small seconds sub-dial, asymmetrically positioned between the one and two-o’clock markers. This design choice enhances the visibility of the exposed movement while offering a unique take on traditional layouts. The Piccadilly case, a signature Speake-Marin design since 2003, has been updated for the collection with a slimmer profile and more ergonomic lugs, enhancing wearability without sacrificing its iconic identity. The cases, available in grade five titanium or red gold, cater to a variety of preferences. While the titanium models offer a lightweight and durable option, the red gold editions add a touch of classic sophistication.

The collection features notable iterations like the Dual-Time model introducing practicality with a second-time zone and a retrograde date, enhanced by vibrant colour accents such as Mint and Lime, adding a modern twist to the classic design. Another distinguished series is the Openworked Sandblasted, which brings a refined aesthetic with its textured dials. The sandblasted finish enhances the visual depth of the dial, perfectly complementing the skeletonised movement beneath. Each model in the collection is powered by the SMA01 calibre, an in-house COSC-certified movement featuring a micro-rotor.
