Product Description
History
The constellation line for women, launched in 1982, with the Constellation Manhattan, has been identified in the luxury watch market because of the “Griffes”, or claws on its outer ring. This characteristic of the range was retained when the brand relaunched its collection in 2009, with compelling models to attract new customers.
Design
The 123.25.27.20.05.002 model from the Constellation Collection is stunningly simple and gracefully beautiful. Featuring a white mother-of-pearl dial in a 27 mm case body, the watch is sleek and fits perfectly well on the slender wrists of women. There are no hour markers on the dial. The only embellishment on the dial is the presence of red gold-fashioned stars spread across at an oblique angle. With a rectangular window at the 3 o’clock position the date, which changes instantaneously at midnight, is clearly and efficiently displayed. Another distinct feature of the timepiece is the stationary bezel mounted on top of the case. Crafted out of red gold, the bezel is adorned with 28 round diamonds, which sparkle alluringly, making the watch appear opulent. A domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal protects the unique dial. The crystal has been coated with anti-reflective treatment on both the sides to eliminate glare and increase readability.
Features
A certified chronometer, the timepiece makes use of the Omega 8520 caliber at its heart. The Self-winding movement with Co-Axial Escapement can be automatically wound in both the directions to reduce winding time. A transparent case back allows watch aficionados to witness the magic of the movement, which operates their watch. The caliber features rhodium plating for exceptional finishing and reduced friction. The watch comes with a power reserve of 50 hours. Owing to its water resistance to a depth of 100 metres, the timepiece won’t be adversely impacted even if you use it during activities like swimming or snorkelling.
