About the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Collection

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin collection epitomises the art of minimalist design, marrying elegance with technical mastery. This exquisite range celebrates the brand’s prowess in crafting remarkably slender timepieces that seamlessly blend form and function. With profiles impressively thin—often less than 7 mm—each model offers sophisticated wearability, making them ideal companions for those who appreciate discreet timepieces that can be easily tucked under the cuffs.

Features

Distinguished by their refined aesthetic, the Master Ultra Thin collection showcases dials that favour simplicity and clarity. The hour markers, often crafted from precious materials, add a touch of luxury while maintaining legibility. The graceful dauphine hands glide effortlessly across the surface, emphasising the collection's commitment to precision. Many models feature a polished or satin-brushed case finish, enhancing their sophisticated appearance. Notably, the collection utilises high-quality materials such as stainless steel and pink gold, ensuring durability alongside elegance. A variety of strap options—including classic leather and luxurious alligator—allow for personalisation while complementing the watch’s slender profile.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT

With its sleek 4.64mm build, this movement powers watches in the widely-popular Polaris and Master Ultra Thin collections. Each calibre 899 undergoes a rigorous testing program known as '1,000 Hour Control', where the movement is tested before and after casing. Only the calibres that meet the stringent standards of the maison leave the factory, a proof of this manifests in the form of a seal on the caseback. Calibre 899 is an ultra-thin self-winding movement with a 38-hour power reserve. It is used in Jaeger-LeCoultre watches with a basic three-hand display and a date feature. Displayed through the sapphire crystal, the impeccable mechanism of the Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 899 features 32 jewels and operates at a beat rate of 28,800 vph. Last but not least, the Geneva stripes and bluish screws elevate the allure of the mechanism.
