About the H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Collection
In the realm of elegant dress watches, H. Moser & Cie. stands out as a symbol of sophistication and understated luxury. Each collection tells a story of tasteful design, characterised by clean construction and dials in an impressive array of colours. This artistry is particularly evident in the Pioneer collection. Relaunched in 2015 with the Pioneer Centre Seconds series, the collection has since evolved into the ideal fusion of a dress and sports watch. The current Pioneer lineup houses handsome timepieces with understated sophistication.
Features
Timepieces from the Pioneer collection exemplify sports watches crafted with remarkable flair. Each watch features a smooth, round case held by reliable straps, while the dials are vibrant and meticulously configured, making the collection truly iconic. These dials are treated with a degradé technique, creating a distinctive smoked effect known as fumé, a signature Moser design used across collections and widely cherished by watch enthusiasts. The dials are populated by slender indexes and skeleton hands, which keep the minimalistic appeal of the brand alive. For attending a business meeting, enjoying a weekend adventure, or dressing up for a formal event, a Pioneer watch complements any outfit with ease and is ideal for daily wear.
Mechanism
All H. Moser & Cie watches present a pleasing dichotomy of simple mien and complex mechanisms. The timepieces in the Pioneer collection are all powered by Moser's in-house movements. They are self-winding calibres decorated to haute horlogerie standards with traditional as well as modern finishings. The Pioneer Tourbillon watches hammer home the mechanical supremacy of the house with the addition of a proprietary hairspring, designed and produced by Precision Engineering AG, the brand's sister company. All these movements offer a generous power reserve of 72 hours.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
H. Moser & Cie. introduced an upgraded version of their automatic calibre HMC 200, namely HMC 201 which is now being used in the Centre Seconds timepieces within the Pioneer and Streamliner collections. The new calibre comes with a three-day power reserve and is visible through the exhibition caseback. The movement combines contemporary design with striking visuals and features H. Moser’s iconic double stripes, skeletonised bridges, and a see-through rotor, providing clear views of its inner mechanisms. It has a large balance wheel that beats at 21,600 vibrations/hour, ensuring accuracy and dependability with each precise tick.
