The Czapek Place Vendôme collection stands as a powerful tribute to both the brand’s heritage and their relentless pursuit of technical excellence. François Czapek left an indelible mark on haute horlogerie, having established his first boutique in the Place Vendôme square in Paris during the mid-19th century. This boutique, the first of its kind in the world of fine watchmaking to open in the heart of this historic Parisian square, laid the foundation for Czapek’s reputation as a pioneer in luxury timepieces. To honour this significant milestone, Czapek introduced the Place Vendôme collection in 2017.

Design And Iterations

A standout piece, the "Tourbillon Suspendu Ici et Ailleurs," features a suspended tourbillon and dual time zone, showcasing the brand’s blend of artistic design and mechanical innovation. This collection highlights Czapek’s commitment to pushing the limits of fine watchmaking, relying on independent specialists through établissage. The Place Vendôme Complicité enhances this legacy with a double escapement visible on the dial, merging functionality with horological artistry. The collaboration with master watchmaker Bernhard Lederer adds further prestige to this remarkable design. In terms of design, the Complicité adheres to Czapek’s distinctive layout, with sub-dials positioned at 7:30 and 4:30. Available in limited-edition models like the Stardust and Harmony Blue, these watches are crafted in 18k white gold and rose gold, respectively.

The watch's unique profile, groove architecture, and superior finishing highlight Czapek’s meticulous attention to detail and enhance its visual depth and texture. The manually wound calibre eight movement is showcased through the dial and caseback, appealing to connoisseurs who value both form and function.
