About the Chronoswiss Sirius Collection
Backdrop
The Chronoswiss Sirius Collection is a tribute to the art of watchmaking, where timeless elegance and precision craftsmanship converge. With a name inspired by the brightest star in the night sky, these watches shine as beacons of horological excellence. With a history steeped in Swiss watchmaking traditions, Chronoswiss brings its legacy of craftsmanship to every Sirius watch.
The Opus Chronograph
Divided into two sub-collections, the Sirius collection features the Opus Chronograph and Lunar Chronograph. The Opus Chronograph was first launched in 1995 and won the “Watch of the Year” by Armbanduhren Magazine in 1996. Opus Chronograph was the first serially produced automatic chronograph which offered a skeletonized dial and movement. Today Opus Chronograph retains the design and philosophy of the original Opus. The Opus features a small seconds dial at the 9 o’clock marker, a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock, a 12-hour marker at 6 o’clock, and a date displayed in a sub-dial at the 3 o’clock marker.
The Lunar Chronograph
Another addition to the Sirius collection is the complicated Lunar Chronograph. Fitted with the signature case featuring the knurled bezel and onion crown, the Lunar Chronograph displays impeccable craftsmanship. The Lunar Chronograph displays a chronograph 30-minute counter, with running seconds at 9 o’clock, a 12-hour chronograph counter at the bottom, and a moon phase at 3 o’clock accented with a 0 to 29.5 scale representing the length of a typical lunar cycle.
