About the Chronoswiss Flying Collection
Regulator watches are synonymous with Chronoswiss' identity, and they harness the strengths of this niche watch category meaningfully across all their collections. While in some, it comes in a rather traditional form, for the Flying collection, the regulator style has been given a high luxury spin, offering dramatic outputs. These primary sub-families of timepieces form the Flying collection, namely the Flying Grand Regulator, Flying Regulator Night and Day, and Flying Grand Regulator Skeleton. All these watches utilise the signature Chronoswiss elements, like the knurled case, the oversized onion-shaped crown, and the curved lugs with rounded edges to bring a recognisable design sensibility to the wrist.
Features
The dial serves as the lodestone of the Chronoswiss Flying watches, where a bold, multi-dimensional design takes centre stage. For the uninitiated, a regulator watch separates the hour, minute, and seconds into different dials. In all Flying watches, a minute scale contours the circumference of the dial. Meanwhile, the hour and second sub-dials are merged in a funnel shape and positioned above the minute scale, giving the impression of floating above the dial's surface. This unique configuration creates multiple layers on the dial, creating a captivating visual effect.
Furthermore, the appeal of the dial is enhanced by interesting backgrounds. Enagaing guilloche patterns in a choice of vibrant hues adorn the dial of Flying Grand Regulator watches. However, things get complex with the Flying Grand Regulator Skeleton, where a skeletonised movement takes charge. The components that form a regulator dial are all placed meticulously upon a skeletonised base, tastefully revealing the brand's in-house manual-winding movement.
A relatively sophisticated dial backdrop is selected for the Chronoswiss Flying Regulator Night and Day watches. A date window and a domed date and night indicator join the other elements of the dial in utmost harmony. A solid, no-frills dial base allows the functional facets to shine in most Night and Day watches.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
Chronoswiss power their Flying Regulator Night and Day watches with the automatic calibre C. 296. For this, they have modified ETA 2895, incorporating an in-house regulator module along with the day/night complication. This movement includes 27 jewels, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), and offers a 42-hour power reserve. It bears the signature, open-worked rotor visible through the exhibition caseback. The rotor is rhodium plated and decorated with Côtes de Genève stripes. Further, the bridges and plates are adorned with perlage decoration.
