History

The Czapek Quai Des Bergues collection was launched in 2011 with the revival of the brand. Since the launch of the collection, the Quai Des Bergues has enjoyed fame with many awards tagged to it. The collection is a homage to the place where Franciszek Czapek founded the watchmaking company in Geneva in 1845.

Features

The Czapek Quai Des Bergues is a collection of timepieces with heritage and legacy attached to it. The guilloche pattern adorning the dial of timepieces such as the Quai Des Bergues Blue Aurora, Aurora Borealis, Guilloche Ricochet and Sapphire Blue S is reminiscent of the past and tells the story of Czapek’s acumen. Apart from the intricate dial, the Quai Des Bergues is equipped with small seconds between the 7 and 8 o’clock marker and a power reserve indicator that is invariably tied to the Day function between the 4 and 5 o’clock marker. The polarity of this is as such that one has to wind the clock to perfection, if overwinding occurs, it will display the Day incorrectly. The collection is equipped with different case materials such as white gold, rose gold, platinum, titanium, and the proprietary steel called the ‘XO’. For women, the Czapek Quai Des Bergues Lady collection offers a white gold case with a mother-of-pearl diamond-studded dial.

The SXH1

The first movement created by Czapek after its revival, the SXH1 is inspired by the movement made by Franciszek Czapek himself. The SXH1 is available in both automatic and manual configurations. The SXH1 is designed by Jean-François Mojon and manufactured by Chronode, a Swiss movement company based in LeLocle.
