Launched in the early 2021, the Zenith Chronomaster Sport line has sealed its place among the top luxury sports chronographs in the industry. With its cool and contemporary aesthetic and perfect proportions, the watch highlights the Swiss player’s pursuit of precision, performance, and design, and has won several accolades. Building on this success, Zenith have unveiled two new iterations at the LVMH Watch Week in Miami. One version features a striking green ceramic bezel and dial, while also debuting the line’s new integrated rubber strap. The other one is an exclusive boutique edition, crafted in 18-karat rose gold with a resplendent bejewelled bezel—a first for the Chronomaster Sport—showcasing the brand’s expert gem-setting technique. Both versions stand out because of their unique aesthetic but with Zenith one knows that it’s always a complete package ie technical prowess and design supremacy.

The green version is as verdant as the lush Swiss Alpine forests and it is for the first time that the engraved 1/10th-of-a-second bezel, mounted on the 41mm stainless-steel case with pump-style pushers is crafted in green ceramic. This play on tones and contrasts extends to the dial as well, which is done in a green lacquer, complementing the green ceramic bezel. The dial also features the brand’s signature tricolour counters in shades of grey and blue. The date window positioned between four and five o’clock is also colour-coordinated with the green dial. The hands and hour markers are rhodium-plated, faceted, and coated with Super-LumiNova. The green version is available with a three-link stainless-steel bracelet or with the brand’s new rubber strap developed specifically for the Chronomaster Sport line. It matches the green hue of the dial and is made from soft yet durable FKM rubber, designed to be perfectly integrated with the case.

And for those who want a bit of razzmatazz on their wrist, the rose-gold version would be an ideal fit. The fanciest iteration of the Chronomaster Sport till date, the 41mm watch is created entirely (bracelet included) in 18-karat rose gold, which amps up the luxe factor. However, it is the dazzling dial and bezel which are the high points of this watch. It is exceptionally executed and according to the brand ‘combines innovative watchmaking with gem-setting.’ Crafted from a slab of meteorite, the watch face is painstakingly hand-finished and is then given a golden hue, which complements the rose-gold hue of the watch’s chassis and also reveals the meteorite’s unique Windmanstätten pattern, exuding a warm glow. It is set with baguette-cut diamond hour markers and applied chronograph counters in the traditional shades of grey and blue. The date window between four and five o’clock is also of the same hue, merging seamlessly with the dial’s hue. The dial is topped by a bezel featuring expertly set baguette-cut white diamonds, black spinels, and grey as well as blue sapphires. This complements the colour scheme of the sub-dials while forming the perfect embellishment on this timekeeper.

The driving force behind both the Chronomaster Sport models is the El Primero 3600. With its high frequency of 5Hz or 36,000vph, the automatic chronograph movement offers a proper 1/10th-of-a-second indication and a power reserve of at least 60 hours. One can admire the contemporary and sleek architecture of this powerhouse through the exhibition caseback, showcasing a blue column wheel and an open rotor marked with the brand’s signature five-pointed star.
