The Timeless Tale Of The Titoni Seascoper

The Titoni Seascoper commands a distinguished place in the world of horology, celebrated for its pioneering role in transforming dive watches beyond their professional origins. Inspired by their first 1979 Seascoper dive watch, the 2014 Seascoper collection was characterised by mechanical sophistication and a spirit of adventure. With striking red or blue bezels, and a variety of dial colours, the 2014 Seascoper swiftly emerged as an enduring icon, offering a water resistance of 200m.

In 2022, the brand expanded the line to include a COSC-certified movement, the Sellita SW200-1 calibre, in their Seascoper 300 timepiece. With a flatter, lighter, and more ergonomic case profile, now water resistant to 300m, this watch was pared down to the basics required for a functional dive watch, with large luminescent markers on the dial and a unidirectional rotating bezel. These features elevated it to a symbol of exploration, encapsulating the spirit of oceanic conquest and stylish self-expression. The Titoni Seascoper 300 embodies the evolving fusion of horology and underwater adventure.

Adding to its illustrious lineage, the legendary dive watch now boasts two new iterations—the Titoni Seascoper All Black (reference 83300 B-BK-R-716) and white (reference 83300 S-BK-713) editions, further extending its timeless allure.

Expanding Legacy: Two New Titoni Seascoper 300 Iterations

The Titoni Seascoper 300 All Black edition is a monochromatic masterpiece limited to just 500 units globally. This suave timepiece boasts a 42mm round stainless-steel case with a black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating, complemented by a black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel marked with a grey diving scale. A black enamelled dial features 11 grey indexes, and matching grey hands, all filled with Super-LumiNova to aid legibility. Despite its monochromatic appearance, the black dial elegantly displays the time and date with exceptional clarity. Completing its all-black aesthetic is a sleek black rubber strap, with an additional #tide strap made from recycled ocean plastic.

With an impressive water resistance rating of 300m, the screwed down caseback features a smoothly polished porthole—as a nod to its marine-inspired design. On this ‘porthole’, along with the words ‘Black Edition’, the limited-edition number of the watch is engraved. Inside, the watch houses an automatic chronometer SW200-1 calibre, officially certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC), the independent Swiss body that tests the accuracy and precision of a watch movement.

The Titoni Seascoper 300 in white shares many attributes with the all-black edition. It sports a 42mm round stainless steel case, equipped with a black ceramic rotating bezel, and offers a robust 300-metre water resistance. Housed within is the automatic SW200-1 chronometer movement. However, this variant, unlike its limited-edition counterpart, features a matte white dial with matt black indexes coated with lume. A polished ‘porthole’ on the steel caseback evokes a round mirrored window from a ship.

The watch is mounted on a stainless steel bracelet, which lends it a more formal aesthetic. However, the bracelet can easily be exchanged for a variety of strap options, including one in rubber or a cool, peppy strap made from recycled ocean plastic. Both strap and bracelet come equipped with fold-over deployants featuring diver’s extensions and precise fine adjustment—a noteworthy feature for serious divers.

With these two editions, Titoni once again leverage their century-long expertise to craft Seascoper 300 timepieces that seamlessly blend mechanical sophistication with timeless aesthetics, setting a new standard for excellence.
