What does time mean to you?

I look at time as an investment. I believe if you do that, you are pickier about how you use it. By investing time rather than spending it, you give it a greater long-term value. Then you become wary of wasting it and think of it as a valuable resource instead.

What is the importance of time in your line of work? Is there an incident when time played a vital role for you?

Time and punctuality are extremely important to me. Fashion is a tremendously fast-paced industry and every minute counts. Girls who wear the clothing of my label (431-88) are trendsetters who are always on the go, and to whom time is of the utmost essence. To that effect, my label is completely focused on fuss-free and practical clothing that saves my clientele some precious time that they can use to do important tasks.

What is your favourite time of the day? Why?

I absolutely treasure my mornings. I start the day bright and early at 6:30 am, followed up by some meditation, a quick cup of coffee and a 20-minute run. This routine gives me clarity on how to tackle the day ahead.

I would prefer to travel into the future. I’d love to see myself retired and having a ball of a time in the Bahamas!

Do you like wearing watches? Which watches do you own and what styles do you like?

I love wearing watches. A beautiful watch is an elegant accessory that completes your look. My personal style often revolves around sober colours and classic styles, and I amp this up with statement earrings and a watch paired with trendy jewellery. As I am a minimalist, I prefer watches that aren’t too loud. I currently own a Rolex Pearlmaster 34 and a Lady Datejust. I alternate between these two, depending on my mood.
