Daniil Medvedev At The US Open 2023
Currently ranked third in the world, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev was in a showdown against Novak Djokovic in the men’s final at the US Open 2023. He did not win, but made a charming appearance at the post-match event. The runner-up was seen alongside his opponent at the prize-giving ceremony, wearing a Bovet. Medvedev, who has been an ambassador of the Bovet brand for a couple of years now, was wearing a watch from the Fleurier collection, with its distinctive crown at the 12 o’clock position, framed by a bow-shaped singular lug on the case. This watch, the OttanaSei, is largely blue and black, with a skeletonised treatment within, offering sheer transparency through the glass in front and the transparent caseback. Making way for an even clearer view is the off-centred timekeeping dial on the upper right and an indicator for the 10-day power reserve opposite the time on the left. Meanwhile, at six o’clock is the cage of the patented double-flying tourbillon mechanism. A modernised version of the pocket watch-inspired Fleurier, the OttanaSei also has transparent case bands, allowing for a view of the sides of the mechanism on the inside as well.

John Krasinski At The US Open 2023
Actor and director John Krasinski was seen at the US Open 2023 with his wife, English actress Emily Blunt. Both the actors happen to be friends of IWC, the Schaffhausen-based Swiss watchmakers. Former star of The Office (USA), Krasinski was wearing an Ingenieur—the 2023 renewed edition of the integrated steel sport watch from IWC. He chose the steel version with a black dial.

Nicole Kidman At The US Open 2023
Another celebrity couple that made a sweet appearance at the US Open 2023 were Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman and her husband, country music star Keith Urban. Kidman, who’s been a long-running ambassador for Omega watches, has often worn vintage pieces from the Omega museum, during her red-carpet appearances. At the US Open 2023, though, she was more casual, but still dressed up her look a little with the dressy Omega De Ville Trésor. It appears to have been a gold edition, with a glossy, deep green leather strap.

Jerry Seinfeld At The US Open 2023
Comedian and former star of the hit classic sitcom Seinfeld, Jerry Seinfeld turned up at one of the US Open 2023 matches wearing a Navitimer Cosmonaute. This classic aviation timekeeper from Breitling features a 24-hour time display, and the signature slide rule of the Navitimer line, on the inner bezel.

Novak Djokovic At The US Open 2023
And finally, the winner at the men’s final of the US Open 2023, tennis superstar Novak Djokovic was seen wearing an Hublot at the prize-giving ceremony, standing alongside Daniil Medvedev, holding his trophy. For the Serbian tennis player this was a fourth US Open win, and his record-breaking 24th men’s Grand Slam title. The Hublot brand ambassador was wearing the Hublot Big Bang Unico Yellow Magic.
