Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
Former wrestler and A-list Hollywood star, Dwayne Johnson recently hosted a College GameDay segment on ESPN. During his appearance on the football pre-game show, the Black Adam actor was seen wearing a TAG Heuer Monaco timepiece. From the Swiss watch brand’s iconic line of square-cased motor-racing watches, this model was the most recent from the Monaco collection.
It was the new Night Driver, which was unveiled by TAG Heuer just earlier this month. The Night Driver features a burst of Super-LumiNova across various parts of the dial, which gives a striking glow in the dark, quite like the dashboard of a car, seen at night. Hence the name ‘Night Driver’.

Ace football star Cristiano Ronaldo has been a friend of the Jacob & Co brand for quite some time now. The American brand of Swiss-made watches have also created special-edition watches featuring elements that depict the footballer—more than one watch from the Epic X collection. Seen recently, when he was meeting with the Portuguese national team, as a member of the team camp for the Euro 2024 preparations, Ronaldo was wearing the Brilliant Caviar Tourbillon. One of Jacob & Co’s many jewelled numbers, this one is fully paved with 424 baguette-cut blue sapphires.

At the recently concluded Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023, Bulgari were a partner of the TIFF Tribute Gala—a fundraiser at the annual fest. Attending the event, among other celebrity guests was actor Willem Dafoe. The former Spider-Man star was seen wearing a Bulgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton 8 Days. From the critically acclaimed and record-breaking Octo Finissimo titanium timekeeper offers a massive power reserve of eight days, which is very impressive, given the limited space for a mainspring in the ultra-slim calibre.

Jessica Chastain, Patricia Arquette, Dakota Johnson
Also attending the Bulgari-partnered event at the TIFF were Academy Award-winning actresses Patricia Arquette and Jessica Chastain—both of whom were spotted wearing Bulgari Serpenti Viper jewellery from the Italian jewellers. Arquette—who had won an Oscar for her supporting role in Boyhood (2014)—was honoured at the film festival event with the ‘TIFF Share her Journey Groundbreaker Award’, presented by Bulgari. Also in attendance was actress Dakota Johnson. The Fifty Shades of Grey star was wearing a pendant necklace—from the Bulgari Serpenti collection.
