On the white carpet of the Met Gala—themed around the ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’ exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York—actor James McAvoy made a striking appearance. The Scottish BAFTA winner was present with his wife Lisa Liberati, who has also worked on a few films. Both wore watches from Jaeger-LeCoultre. McAvoy was seen with the new 2023 Reverso Tribute Chronograph on his wrist. It’s the latest edition, which was unveiled earlier this year at Watches and Wonders in Geneva. This Reverso features a clean time-only dial on one side, with the chronograph displays—including a retrograde 30-minute counter—on the reverse. Liberati was seen wearing the 101 Feulle, which is often seen on red carpets. This ‘secret watch’ runs on one of the smallest mechanical movements ever made. While this watch is usually seen in white gold, this edition is in pink gold.
