A high-profile series from Amazon, Citadel is premiering this week on Prime Video. In the weeks leading up to the launch of the spy drama, the stars of the show have been making appearance after striking appearance at various events, globally. One of these premieres took place in Mumbai.

At the Mumbai premiere of Citadel, lead actress Priyanka Chopra-Jonas was seen wearing a Bulgari Serpenti Misteriosi watch with a concealed dial. The Bulgari brand ambassador paired this coiled icon with her blue printed outfit. Contrasting that look were the gold and diamonds of the watch, which can be seen by tugging at the serpent’s tongue—an action that will make the mouth open. Inside, is a watch that can be removed and rotated as desired.

Chopra’s Citadel co-star, Richard Madden was spotted wearing an Omega at more than one of these premiere events—at the Mumbai one as well. However, his look in Rome, Italy, revealed his Omega most prominently. It can almost instantly be identified as a Seamaster Aqua Terra—although, not one of the new Aqua Terra colours. While it is a Master Chronometer, the watch seems to be an older edition featuring a striped dial that was inspired by decks of ships, in keeping with the nautical inspirations of this line.

It is no surprise then, that we see some of the biggest luxury and prestige brands on this show. In the ongoing fourth season, which, incidentally, is also its last, actor Kieran Culkin—who plays the youngest Roy sibling in this family/business drama—was seen sporting an IWC timepiece. TAG Heuer At Their Own Celebration

Multiple stars showcasing Carrera novelties

This year, TAG Heuer are celebrating 60 years of the Carrera collection—one of their signature motorsport lines, which has been the canvas for some of their most impressive watchmaking innovations. The Swiss brand are marking this milestone with various events and activities, including the London event just days ago. Three of the brand’s biggest current ambassadors were present among others. Actors Ryan Gosling, Patrick Dempsey and Jacob Elordi were all wearing the Carrera Chronograph 2023 edition in blue, which was unveiled just last month at Watches and Wonders in Geneva. A highlight of this piece from the Carrera anniversary edition is the convex flange of the dial, featuring the tachymeter scale, enhanced even more, visually, by the domed sapphire crystal glass.

While Patrick Dempsey himself is a passionate motor-racer, Ryan Gosling has been featured in a fun short film called The Chase for Carrera—a part of the Carrera anniversary celebrations. In the film, he’s seen featured opposite actress Vanessa Bayer, who was also present at this event. Like her co-star, Bayer was wearing the same watch at this event as she was wearing in the film. It was the Carrera Date with a hot pink dial, which really grabbed attention when it was launched last month in Geneva.
