Offering an extensive range of steel sports watches, the addition of gold to the Urban collection is as riveting as the skeletonised BR 05 models. Carrying forward the success of the BR 05 watches, the BR 05 Green Gold is a plush timepiece that redefines the execution of sports watches. With its case and bracelet made entirely in gold, this reference adds to the vibrant choices available in the Urban collection, be it the BR-X5 Ice Blue Steel, the BR 05 Skeleton Golden, or the BR 05 Chrono Edición Limitada that features a brown dial sitting inside a case of steel and rose gold.

The sparkling green of the dial represents victory and quickly brings to mind the colour of trees. This watch face exhibits a mesmerising transformation of colours that will leave you spellbound. With every tilt and turn, the painted metal plate, which serves as the dial’s base, creates a stunning sunburst effect, giving rise to an ever-changing spectrum of shades. The green sunray dial shows rose gold applique numerals, indexes, and skeletonised hour and minute hands—all treated with Super-LumiNova. The 40mm satin-polished case in 18-karat rose gold is water-resistant up to 100m and comes with a sapphire crystal caseback that allows for an enchanting view of the automatic engine—the BR-CAL.321 calibre, which can achieve a power reserve of around 40 hours, while it flaunts an oscillating weight that too has been crafted in gold. It is offered on a matching bracelet, but can also be paired with a green alligator leather strap to amplify its poise.

The BR 05 Gold And Blue Gold

Filled to the brim with classic sophistication are the black and blue editions of the BR 05 in gold. While one offers the depth of a black dial, the other presents a blue sunray dial, personifying elegance and minimalism. Sitting snug inside a 40mm polished and satin-finished case in rose gold, the black iteration comes equipped with a sapphire crystal caseback that allows the wearer to admire the automatic BR-CAL.321 movement with a gold-plated 360-degree oscillating weight. This timepiece comes paired with a rose gold bracelet or a black grooved rubber strap.

It’s the same size with a 40mm case crafted from 18-karat rose gold, and has the same functions of hours, minutes and seconds, minus the date. However, the golden dial in this one has been cut out, to reveal the rose gold-plated movement within, making for a gorgeous monochromatic look. With the closed dial gone, so have the numerals. What you get instead are hour indexes, with Super-LumiNova, like the central hour and minute hands. These indexes really stand out though, as they lend added visual depth, as they appear to be just touching the flange, while they remain largely floating above the movement underneath.
