ReviewPlatinum Exploration: Arnold & Son Introduce Their New Globetrotter Platinum

Designed with sleek, harmonious lines, the popular Arnold & Son Globetrotter has now been released in a first-of-its-kind platinum version, vividly offsetting the blue of the timepiece’s iconic globe

May We Recommend

The distinctive and creative Arnold & Son Globetrotter collection is an ever-expanding universe of new designs and materials. From solid red gold versions, to a Day and Night edition, over time, the series has evolved into a fan-favourite among watch enthusiasts across the globe. This year, Arnold & Son further expanded the collection with their first platinum version—the Arnold & Son Globetrotter Platinum.

Around The Globe In A Platinum Case

The 28-piece limited platinum edition pays tribute to 18th century explorers, who used John Arnold’s chronometers as essential tools aboard British naval ships. The new Globetrotter Platinum follows the themes of world exploration, travelling, and discovering new horizons, with a central globe on the watchface depicting the northern hemisphere as it would look from the north pole. This globe is decorated with an architecturally-structured bridge, in 18-karat gold, which is slender and elegant. Made from a single piece of metal, this bridge adds an enhanced elegance to the openworked design of the dial.
