History
Omega, one of the foremost luxury watch brands, creates timepieces that symbolise luxury and precision. Omega watches are the official timekeepers of one of the most prestigious sports events, the Olympics. It also has its name associated with the Commonwealth Games. The timekeepers have been to the space as well as to the bottom of the sea. James Bond has also worn the watches in the movie series.

Design
The Omega Constellation Co-Axial 35 mm 123.10.35.20.01.001 is elegantly designed. Its stylish black dial  comes encased in a 35 mm stainless steel case and has silver luminescent indexes acting as hour markers, which enable you to view the time even in pitch darkness. You can see the date in the date aperture positioned at 3’ o clock. The silver hour hands and bezel are perfectly complemented with the dial and the latter exhibits “Griffes” or claws, which is a signature design element for all time pieces of this collection. Besides, the dial is engraved with Roman numerals acting as hour markers.
The case window is made of sapphire crystal, which safeguards the watch from all sorts of external wear and tear. You can view the time with prefect clarity even in bright sunlight as the crystal comes with anti reflective coating. In addition to that, you can enjoy the intrinsic escapement movement of the watch through its transparent caseback.

Features
The watch comes equipped with the Omega Co-Axial calibre 2500 movement, the self winding chronometer movement with rhodium plated finish, which allows the watch to give impeccable time. It has a power reserve of 48 hours and is water resistant to a depth of 100 m permitting you to go swimming, diving, snorkelling while wearing it.

History
The Constellation Collection by Omega was launched in 1952, has since been renowned for its ultra precise movements and elegantly refined cases. Century, a limited edition wristwatch unveiled in 1948 on the firm’s 100th anniversary, is the progenitor of the collection. Due to the overwhelming response received by this watch, the brand launched the Constellation collection, which imbibed the same qualities. In 1982, the Constellation “Manhattan” was launched, with which the four claws or “griffes” were introduced that keeps the sapphire crystal case intact to securely render the watch waterproof.

Series
The Omega Constellation collection has been exemplified in several sub collections that include the Gents’ Collection, Ladies’ Collection, Orbis Constellation Star, Sedna, and the Luxury Edition. The watches in the Gents’ collection feature distinctive design factors – the renowned claws on the case, horizontal links for utmost comfort, and a Constellation star, which is situated at the 6o’ clock position. Featuring a vast range of watches with different sizes, metals, dials, and diamond options to choose from, the Ladies’ Collection contains at least one watch to suit every wrist. The Orbis Constellation Star supports Orbis International – which gives advanced eye care to some of the most inaccessible regions in the world, and it’s Flying Eye Hospital. An 18-carat rose gold alloy, consisting of copper, palladium, and at least 75% gold, has been used to craft the Constellation Sedna. This breathtaking alloy adds an innovative and stunning appeal to the watch, giving it a long lasting rose-coloured hue. The magnificent Omega Constellation Luxury Edition watches showcase multitude of diamonds in spectacular supernova pattern, which dazzles the eyes of the onlooker.

Associations
A gold Omega Constellation “Manhattan” was worn by the former president of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev. One of the 20th century’s most popular musicians, cultural icon, actor, and American singer, Elvis Presley had worn a black-dialled Constellation Calendar.
