The Tissot PRS 516 sports watch is a watch that was launched in 2010. This sporty yet elegant timepiece is available in 2-3 colors and looks to compliment various lifestyles. You will enjoy the convenience of a date display and can choose one of the chronograph models if you appreciate that feature. It has scratch resistant sapphire crystal which protects this timepiece. I bought this watch in Germany from a Christ Store after a lot of research and it did pay off. I have bought the same torquise blue watch which is being shown on this page. It is really a masterpiece. The battery lasted for over 3 years and and believe me not a single scratch due to the sapphire crystal glass. The watch really looks elegant on the hands and so is the wrist band. Though the lock in the band has loosened up a bit but still I have no complaints. I give it a 5 star for the features, looks and detailing in this masterpiece.

This watch belongs to the PRS 516 series of T-Sport family. It has a long history of race sport heritage going back 50 years. The 044 is the code for PRS 516 series, .417 informs that it is a quartz with chronograph functionality, .21 denotes the strap type as steel and .041 says that the dial colour is blue. The quartz chronograph version comes with two strap types - steel and rubber (.26). However the rubber strap has only the white dial (.031) and black dial (.051) versions.
The blue dial version looks very similar to the black dial version except that it throws a deep blue hue when light reflects off its surface. Combined with the steel strap, chronometer and tachymeter functions, looks extremely classy. The watch is water resistant upto 100 metres/330 feet. Since it also features sapphire crystal glass, it is an ideal for persons with an outdoor lifestyle. This piece uses the tried and tested G10.211 quartz movement made by ETA which is known to be extremely accurate and reliable.
Elegant yet aggressive, classy and masculine, this watch can be a great choice for those looking for their first Swiss watch which can be worn on all days for all purposes (official, evening, party).
I bought it for myself at Ethos Boutique at Forum Vijaya mall at Chennai. The ambiance was great and the staff courteous. The box comes with 1. Warranty booklet 2. Warranty card 3. User Manual 4. A book on the history of Tissot 5. Moto GP racing calender and 6. Tissot catalogue with a foreward by the President of Tissot. Preserve all these these things to preserve the value of the watch. -

This is my first chance to write for Ethos Watches. I searched Ethos Watches on net and as far as this watch is concerned it's superb my brother owns the same, great look great design and great company to own. As Ethos Watches are concerned I want to buy this Watch from Ethos with genuine price.

Excellent watch and super store for genuine watch collectors .
I found the exact colour what I was looking for in Swiss watches, Tissot PRS 516 in dark blue dial is classy , exudes sporty feel and feels great on hand.
My experience at Ethos was good and they offer genuine pieces in this world flooded with replicas.
