About the TAG Heuer Grand Carrera Collection
History
The launch of the Grand Carrera series in 2007 marked a crucial turning point for TAG Heuer as they had to overcome the difficult task of reaching out to a new segment of older buyers, many of whom had never owned a watch by the brand before. TAG Heuer met this challenge with an undaunted spirit and went on to position the Grand Carrera as one of the world’s leading high-end watch collections. The Grand Carrera range is a premium design series combining many bestselling features to give watches that are extensive in functionality and outstanding in aesthetics.
Design
Signature aesthetic elements comprise a hand-applied logo, applied hour markers, rotating system disc, extensive Cotes de Genève finishing, double Sapphire case back and a double-crown. Each model in the series is available in a stainless steel bracelet, rubber strap or a crocodile leather strap. The standout design element of this series is the Rotating System (RS) disc used in all the models. The discs replace the traditional sub-dials. These discs have been elaborately decorated with semi-circular polished frames and impart the collection with a unique touch.
Features
The Grand Carrera is the only one of TAG Heuer’s watches that is not available as a quartz version. All the models are automatic and their automatic movements have been COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) certified to guarantee precision and durability.

A man has style but a gentleman has class!! TAG's Grand Carrera is the personification of class. A gentleman sporting this elegant time piece will be hard to miss. With an automatic chronograph the boyish charm is kept intact. The black dial and leather strap add great elan and sophistication to the watch
It is a watch for making a very strong yet sophisticated statement. -

Tag heuer is perhaps one of the only watch brands that make luxury watches that fit any day and age. With its usual class and excellent price range, it's proves to be a real steal for such a price. A must have for all watch lovers and wannabe collectors. A great way to start the collection, and it's a huge brand in the world of haute horology. More importantly, this grand carrera is absolutely stunning. Beautiful. Marvellous. Must buy.
