About the Raymond Weil Tango Collection
Raymond Weil were founded in 1976 by their visionary namesake, Raymond Weil, with a mission to revolutionise Swiss watchmaking through a fresh perspective on design and craftsmanship. From its inception, the brand drew inspiration from the world of music, with early collections like Amadeus, Toccata, and Fantasia paying homage to composers and opera. This musical influence became a cornerstone of Raymond Weil's identity. In the early nineties, the Tango collection was introduced, embodying the rhythmic elegance and dynamic energy of its Tango dance. This collection's timeless appeal and innovative design quickly garnered widespread recognition around the world, solidifying Raymond Weil's reputation as a leading name in the luxury watch industry.
Elegance In Every Detail
The Tango collection's design strikes an ideal balance between heritage and contemporary. The watches are rendered in stainless steel, catering to both men and women, with sizes ranging from 30mm to 42mm. Most watches have unique dials with sunray ornamentation, available in various colours, including blue, green, and pink for the women's line and classic black, blue, and shades of grey for men. Additionally, Super-LumiNova improves the dial's legibility with treated hands and markings. The limited edition Bob Marley model features a black dial with the renowned lion head and the colours of the Ethiopian flag, honouring the reggae legend and his cultural importance. Moreover, in the case of the Bob Marley version, a GMT feature that tracks several time zones. The range also has outstanding water resistance, with some versions certified up to 300 metres, making it appropriate for different sports activities. Lastly, the ergonomic strap design with crown guards and a screw-down crown contributes to the Tango watches' robustness and sporting appeal, making them as versatile as they are exquisite.

This time machine should have been on an automatic movement version. Otherwise, “a class apart" from its own competitor Tango range
