Rado True Square Automatic Skeleton

History

While conquering the world of watchmaking with its brilliant timepieces melted inside the pot of ceramic, Rado decided to bring in a new set of innovations. In 1990, Rado launched the world’s first square ceramic watch. Today, something similar can be found inside the Rado True Square collection.

Features

With a square ceramic case, the timepieces in the collection are ahead of their time. The True Square Automatic features an automatic movement and a date window at the 3 o’clock marker. Featuring this robust automatic movement on the dial, the True Square Automatic Open Heart is a more mechanical interpretation of the original symmetrical timepiece by Rado. Fitting the virtue of elegance inside the collection, the True Square Diamonds are fitted with diamond-studded index markers and a mother-of-pearl dial in some.

Special Editions

It is important for anyone to hold the virtue of temporality in mind, to celebrate this trait Rado decided to collaborate with Delhi-based artists, Thukral and Tagra. The collaboration resulted in a highly decorative timepiece called the True Square Over the Abyss. Another collaboration Rado participated in was with British industrial designer, Tej Chauhan. The result was the True Square Tej Chauhan a bright-yellow coloured timepiece with an enchanting dial. Another special edition, the True Square Formafantasma was made in collaboration with the Italian-Dutch design duo and offers a sense of mystery to the timepiece. Whereas, revealing the secrets of the digital world is the True Square Undigital which was made in collaboration with Japanese design duo YOY.
