Bringing the past, present, and future under one roof, the Rado HyperChrome Classic collection takes its inspiration from the very first watches created by the brand. During the 1950s when round watches were prevalent, Rado was delving into the experimentation aspect of watchmaking. This tradition is still carried to this day and Rado still emphasises innovation.

Features

The Rado HyperChrome Classic is a brilliantly finished set of timepieces. The simple, suave timepieces feature a date window at the 3 o’clock marker and a finely finished case fixed inside running lugs. Most of the HyperChrome Classic timepieces are fixed with diamond-studded index markers and in some cases, a mother-of-pearl dial too. The HyperChrome Classic features an anchor on the 12 o’clock marker. This marker rotates when the wearer moves its wrists. The function of the anchor is to notify the user that the timepiece needs servicing as the anchor will stop moving when it is time for service. This anchor is missing in some.

The Golden Horse

Even before the advent of the famed Captain Cook, the Rado Golden Horse donned the hangar of the brand with finesse. For that particular period of time, the Golden Horse was the famed equestrian that drove the brand to international recognition. Today, the Golden Horse follows a similar ideology of both design and mechanics. With dauphine hands and a symbol of the original Golden Horse, the 6 o’clock marker represents the original timepiece from 1957.
