Essence

Since the re-establishment of the brand, Perrelet adopted a strategy of awareness while keeping the roots of traditional watchmaking firmly planted. To establish this idea, the brand launched a number of timepieces under the Perrelet Classics collection. The idea behind the collection was to sow the seeds of simplistic yet heritage-based designs into the collection. Today, the collection has various series of timepieces such as Diamond Flower, First Class, and Weekend.

The Weekend

Pierced with the veil of minimalism, the Weekend series holds the heart of uncluttered dials into its chest. With this relaxed silhouette, the series is offered in different iterations such as Three Hands, GMT, and Open Heart. The basic variant is equipped with a date window at the 3 o’clock marker and sleek sword hands. Furthermore, the GMT variant features a similar layout but with an exception of a 24-hour concentric ring which is used to display the second time zone by a central hand. Displaying the intricate in-house movement, the Weekend Open Heart displays a peek into the movement with a window over the 6 o’clock marker.

First Class & Diamond Forever

To honour the founder, Perrelet decided to craft a timepiece that promptly displayed their crown jewel, a rotor on the dial side. This set of timepieces was named the First Class and has become a synonym for the brand's ingenuity and craftsmanship. The display of the rotor on the dial side does not power the movement as this job is handled by the rotor on the caseback. For women, this patented double rotor design is refined in a more elegant manner. Called the Diamond Flower, this elegant re-interpretation of the First Class flirts with diamonds and flowers on the dial side. The dial side rotor is furnished with diamonds and in some cases, the dial is also adorned with mother-of-pearl.
