Nivada Grenchen Numerals Date - Depthmaster

History

First launched in the 1960s, the Nivada Grenchen Depthmaster collection was released after the brand launched the world’s first diver watch with a depth indicator called the Depthomatic. Today, the Depthmaster retains its heritage with the same water resistance capability as the 1960s model.

Features

Featuring a robust cushion-shaped case, the Depthmaster offers a look into vintage watchmaking. The Depthmaster offers a water-resistance capability of approximately 1000 metres and a helium escape valve for all the diving activities sewed with the Depthmaster. Another unique feature of the collection is the addition of Pacman-style markers apart from the Arabic numerals on the dial. One notable difference is that Pacman-style timepieces lack the date window, whereas the Arabic numeral iteration features one fitted at the 3 o’clock marker.

Jellyfish

The authentic re-edition of the legendary 60s dial is perfectly imbibed in a rather fun timepiece called the Jellyfish Depthmaster. Replacing the second hand is an 8-bit representation of a jellyfish complementing the Pacman-style hour markers.
