Back when the watchmaking world was reeling from the infamous quartz crisis(for the mechanical watch industry), Maurice Lacroix decided to launch a high-end collection called the Les Mécaniques. With rising fame and recognition, the brand decided to rename this collection. Now, the Les Mécaniques is called the Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece collection. Since 1992, the Masterpiece collection has carried the legacy and the high-end craftsmanship with itself.
