Maurice Lacroix's Aikon collection traces back to the Calypso line of watches from the 1990s. Originating as the Calypso in the 1990s, this collection was deeply influenced by Gérald Genta's legendary designs: the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Patek Philippe Nautilus, which revolutionised watch design in the 1970s. In 2016, Maurice Lacroix reintroduced the Calypso under the Aikon name, updating its features while retaining the essence of its predecessor. This transformation allowed Aikon to bridge the gap between classic design influences and modern horological advancements, establishing itself as a notable figure in contemporary watchmaking.

Sophisticated Design

The Aikon collection is celebrated for its distinctive, sophisticated design, sporty elegance and timeless appeal. A standout feature is the six polished arms around the bezel, inspired by Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and Patek Philippe Nautilus watches.
