About the Longines Record Collection

Essence

The Longines Record collection is a range of exceptional timepieces that combines classic elegance with cutting-edge watchmaking technology. Introduced by Longines, the renowned Swiss watchmaker with a rich heritage dating back to 1832, the Record collection is a testament to the brand's commitment to precision, reliability, and refined aesthetics.

Features

The Record collection holds the idea of precision and aesthetics close to its heart. In terms of aesthetics, the clean, suave dials coupled with polished cases offer an intimate look into the watchmaking traditions of Longines. The dauphine or lance-shaped hands, often polished and coated with luminescent material, ensure excellent legibility in any lighting conditions. Some models in the Record collection also incorporate a date window for practicality, discreetly positioned at either the 3 o'clock or 6 o'clock position. Offering a substance of elegance, some timepieces inside the collection also features diamond-set bezel or markers. Some timepieces also feature a mother-of-pearl dial, adding to the elegance of the collection. Apart from the aesthetics part, the utilitarian part comes with a chronograph iteration with a bi-compax layout of the sub-dials. These chronographs also feature a pulsometer on the outer flange of the dial.

Movement

Fitted with automatic movements, all the movements inside the Record collection are COSC certified and are considered Chronometers. What sets these movements apart is the usage of a monocrystalline silicon balance spring that offers better accuracy.
