Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin White

History

Introduced in 2009, the Laurent Ferrier Classic Tourbillon Double Hairspring was the first timepiece launched by the brand. In less than a year, the Classic was tested inside the GPHG in 2010 and the Classic Tourbillon won the best men’s watch category. Since then, the Classic collection has been adorned by various iterations that define the brand's character.

Features

The sublime yet characterful timepieces inside the Classic collection are defined by their duality of carrying simple aesthetics with mechanical complexities. The Classic Micro-Rotor offer a simple yet elegant setup on the dial and the moment a gaze is set upon the case back, one experiences the detailed and complex powerhouse of the timepiece. Another example of fitting a complex complication inside the Classic collection is the addition of a tourbillon. The Classic Tourbillon features a similar setup on the dial as the other Classics and the caseback displays a beautifully crafted tourbillon beating inside the timepiece. For travellers, the Classic collections fill the gap with a distinct yet clean second-time zone.

Movement

Displaying the very best of Laurent Ferrier, the Classic collection is the revered LF619.01 movement inside the Classic Tourbillon. The LF619 features a double hairspring and a “Swiss” pallet escapement while providing a power reserve of approximately 80 hours. Powered by a micro-rotor, the FBN229.01 offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. These movements are manufactured and assembled by hand, providing these mechanical workhorses with the finesse it needs for being Laurent Ferrier.
