Jacob & Co. Epic X Titanium (Blue Neoralithe Inner Ring)

Essence

Jacob & Co. has been known for its shiny and exuberant timepieces but there have been instances when the brand came up with sturdy, robust timepieces. Launched in 2015, the Jacob & Co. Epic X collection is one such addition to the brand’s lineup. With lugs clutching the bezel, the sturdy timepiece offers a silhouette of X on the dial with signature vertical bridges.

Features

The Jacob & Co. Epic X collection is a skeletonised set of timepieces that offer a much deeper look into the functioning of the movement. The various components such as wheels, balance springs, bridges, and mainspring barrels are visible on the dial. The leaf-shaped skeletonised hands are fitted with red ends that work in conjunction with an inner ring to denote minutes. A redesigned version of the Epic X called Epic X V2 offers a fresh outlook towards a skeleton watch with bridges finished with the Clou De Paris Guilloche pattern.

The Baguettes

Returning to its gem-setting traditions, the Epic X Baguette offer a robust way of timekeeping. With baguette-cut diamonds on the bezel, the timepieces are an opulent addition to the collection. Inside the Epic X Baguette V2, the vertical bridges and the lugs are also fitted with baguette-cut diamonds.

The Tourbillons

The Epic X also features a tourbillon-laden variant. Called the Epic X Tourbillon Baguette, the timepiece features a single-axis tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Apart from the tourbillon, the highlight of the timepieces is an array of colourful baguette-cut precious stones apart from diamonds such as rubies, sapphires, and spinel. Jacob & Co. also collaborated with UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and created an Epic X featuring a tourbillon and his unbeatable score of “29-0”.

Epic X Producer Michael

Limited to only 101 units, the Epic X Producer Michael was made in conjunction with Grammy-nominated record producer Michael Blakey. With a caseback signed by Blakey, the timepieces feature drumsticks as hours and minutes hands and a rainbow-coloured inner bezel. The Epic X Producer Michael is Available in three different case materials such as black PVD Titanium, rose gold, and black DLC.
