The Vividly Shiny 'Brilliant'

Brilliance has been a synonym for Jacob & Co. Be it crafting innovative timepieces or producing the finest pieces of jewellery, the brand has positioned itself in the upper echelon of the luxury market. Inspired heavily by the gem-setting tradition of Jacob Arabo, the Jacob & Co. Brilliant collection features a wide variety of precious stones and gems uniquely fitted to the timepieces. Jacob & Co. decided to step away from the masculine persona of the brand and came up with something for the demoiselle. Be it the addition of the mother-of-pearl dials or brilliant gems, the feminine aspect of the brand is perfectly engraved on each of the Brilliant timepieces.

Shine On You Crazy 'Brilliant'

If we had the perfect recipe for a diamond-filled stew, the timepieces inside the Brilliant collection would make up for an ideal bouillon. Fitted with various gems such as Pink Sapphire, Amethyst Sapphire, Blue Sapphire, Rubies, and Tsavorites, the Brilliant collection features a single row of diamonds or timepieces with a half-pave. The brand also offers timepieces in a cocktail of precious stones called the Brilliant Rainbow fitted with various colourful precious stones.

The Mystery

Adding a little bit of mysticism to the collection is the Brilliant Mystery. A series of timepieces with triangular hour and minute markers fixed on the transparent sapphire glass. The hands seem to be floating on the dial and that is where the name Mystery comes from. The Brilliant Mystery Pave is fitted with various precious stones such as diamonds, pink sapphire, and rubies. Whereas, the centrally placed diamonds fill the floating dial with eccentric shines. Mixing a little bit of variation, the brand offers the Brilliant Mystery Baguette White Diamonds in two dial sizes, 38mm and 44mm.

The Baguette & Tourbillon

There is a reason Jacob & Co. flourished inside both the high-jewellery and high-watchmaking segment. One of the reasons would be crafting watches that double up as a perfectly fitted jewel. In the Brilliant Baguette and Brilliant Flying Tourbillon series, the dial fully comprises baguette-cut precious stones and diamonds. In a bid to add some complexity to the brilliantly studded timepiece, the brand added the Brilliant Flying Tourbillon series. The series is fitted with a flying tourbillon at the 6 o’clock marker amidst a brilliant full pave dial.

The Skeleton & Northern Lights

Finding a perfect balance between showcasing both the technical and aesthetical prowess of the brand, the Brilliant collection came equipped with the Brilliant Skeleton iteration. Displaying the movement on a skeleton variant, the Brilliant Skeleton Baguette is fitted with baguette-cut precious stones such as rubies, diamonds and sapphires. In a similar setup, the Brilliant Skeleton Jewellery is available only in round diamonds and a skeleton dial. Whereas, the Brilliant Northern Lights offers a similar look into the movement but with transparent mineral crystal dials over it in various vibrant hues. Another iteration inside the skeletonised variants is the Brilliant Art Deco. A series of timepieces that feature a labyrinth of bridges fitted with diamonds over the skeleton dial. Apart from the bridges, the Art Deco-inspired timepieces are fixed with baguette-cut precious stones and diamonds on the case and bezel.

Brilliant Pave

The collection would have been incomplete without a set of timepieces fully equipped with just round diamonds available in 38mm and 44mm case sizes. Called the Brilliant Pave, the set of timepieces features a full pave case. With a little bit of variation, the Brilliant Half Pave offers a painted dial and a diamond-studded bezel. The dial features either a snow pattern or white mother-of-pearl set with a multi-layered gear design. The Brilliant Pave is also offered in a two-row diamond setup called, with a multi-layered gear design on the dial.
