About the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Collection
In the 1930s, the world experienced a transformative shift towards aerodynamics, influencing various industries, including locomotives. This era saw the emergence of sleek, streamlined designs replacing crude, box-like structures. Drawing inspiration from these aerodynamic locomotives, the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner collection embodies the elegance and sophistication of that period. In 2019, the Streamliner Chronograph received the prestigious GPHG Chronograph of the Year award, making it an impressive achievement for the brand. The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner collection is a true embodiment of sleek, chic design and innovative engineering. With its array of complications and distinctive aesthetic, it stands out as a significant achievement in the world of luxury sports watches.
Features
The standout feature of this sports watch is its integrated steel bracelet, designed for both aesthetics and comfort, although some models are available with a strap. The collection is rich with complications, ranging from Tourbillon to Flyback Chronograph, and everything in between. Despite these variations, the collection maintains consistency with its cushion-cut case shape and eye-catching, funky dials. The design philosophy is a blend of vintage charm and modern innovation, resulting in timepieces that are both functional and stylish.
Iterations
H. Moser & Cie. has taken a well-charted course with its chronographs. The Streamliner Flyback Chronograph, for instance, retains the brand's minimalist nature by foregoing the sub-dials typical of many flyback chronographs. Instead, it features two chronograph hands that display minutes and seconds, specifically for measuring elapsed time rather than timekeeping. These hands are controlled by pushers placed at the 10 and two o'clock positions, offering a user-friendly interface. Additionally, the Streamliner collection is home to a unique perpetual calendar. In the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar series, the months are ingeniously displayed using the 12-hour indexes, a testament to H. Moser & Cie's innovative approach to traditional watchmaking. In 2024, the brand became Alpine Motorsports' official timekeeping partner and subsequently released the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine Limited Edition. It is an intriguing skeletonised timepiece powered by manufacture calibre HMC 811.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
