About the Graham Chronofighter Vintage Collection
The Graham Chronofighter Vintage collection is a refined homage to the brand's historic aviation timepieces, particularly those inspired by military pilot watches from the 1940s. While maintaining the distinctive identity of the Chronofighter series, this collection embodies a more classic and restrained aesthetic compared to its larger and bolder siblings. With a focus on aviation heritage and vintage design, the Chronofighter Vintage brings together old-world charm and modern craftsmanship in a seamless blend of form and function.
Design And Craftsmanship
The hallmark of the Chronofighter Vintage is its instantly recognisable design, dominated by the distinctive trigger system that operates the chronograph. Unlike conventional chronographs, the trigger mechanism is positioned on the left side of the case. This makes the watch especially comfortable for left-handed wearers who prefer to wear their watch on the right wrist enhancing both the practicality and uniqueness of the collection. Housed in a 44mm bronze case, the use of a CuSn8 alloy adds a layer of nostalgia. The case develops a natural patina over time, giving each timepiece a distinctive and evolving appearance that speaks to its heritage. The dial reflects the collection’s vintage inspiration, with sun-brushed finishes and a selection of warm, earthy tones. Available in colours such as silver, green, blue, and black, the dials are complemented by vintage-style hands and baton indices, further enhancing the historical charm of the watch.
The design pays subtle tribute to World War II pilot watches, evoking an era of adventure and precision engineering. The collection offers several iterations, each balancing the essence of vintage aesthetics with modern functionality. The bronze models, for instance, come in different dial configurations, featuring day-date displays and chronograph counters. The signature thumb-operated trigger is joined by a plunger-style reset pusher at 10 o’clock, making it easy to reset the chronograph without interfering with the main functions.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
Designed for reliability and precision, the Graham calibre G1733 automatic chronograph movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), ensuring accurate timekeeping and efficient chronograph functionality. With 28 jewels strategically placed within the movement, friction is reduced, enhancing durability and performance. The G1733 features a solid 48-hour power reserve, making it dependable. Additionally, the movement is equipped with an Incabloc shock absorber, providing essential protection against impacts. This calibre embodies Graham's dedication to quality craftsmanship and robust engineering, catering to the needs of practical watch enthusiasts.
