Inspired by the celebrated Peacock Egg of 1908, this Fabergé Compliquee Peacock in Rose Gold transforms Peter Carl Fabergé's enduring tradition of surprise into an ingenious mechanical display. Housed in a 38mm 18K rose gold case, the timepiece features a striking matt black lacquer dial centred on a hand-engraved peacock, while black-painted mother-of-pearl hour and minute indicators frame the watch's distinctive fan-shaped time display. Developed exclusively with Agenhor Manufacture, the manually wound calibre 6901 powers the retrograde display that earned the collection the 2015 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in the High-Mechanical category. A sapphire caseback reveals the movement, while a black alligator leather strap completes this expressive interpretation of haute horlogerie.

About the Fabergé Compliquee Collection
Elevating mechanical watchmaking into an art form, the Fabergé Compliquée collection showcases the maison’s most accomplished expression of haute horlogerie. Developed in partnership with renowned watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht and Agenhor, the collection demonstrates that complications can be as visually engaging as they are technically impressive. Every timepiece is conceived around a unique mechanical concept that transforms the way time is displayed, while remaining deeply connected to Fabergé's tradition of creativity and meticulous craftsmanship.
Design Language Rooted in Art and Engineering
The Compliquée collection is defined by sculptural dial construction and a highly narrative approach to design. Multi-layered displays, carefully composed proportions, guilloché engraving, enamel work, mother-of-pearl, and hand-set gemstones are integrated into the watches with purpose, ensuring that decorative techniques enhance the mechanical concept. Cases crafted in precious metals like rose gold or platinum combined with refined finishing and balanced dial architecture, reinforce the collection's position within haute horlogerie. This thoughtful integration of métiers d'art and contemporary Swiss engineering gives the collection a distinctive character, where every decorative detail contributes to both the aesthetic composition and the functionality of the watch.
The Lady Compliquée Peacock: A GPHG Award Winner
The defining timepiece within the collection is the Lady Compliquée Peacock, which won the Ladies' High-Mechanical prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in 2015.. Inspired by the celebrated Peacock Egg created in 1908 for the Russian Imperial family, the timepiece reimagines the retrograde display through an exclusive Agenhor-developed calibre. Instead of conventional hands, the minutes are indicated by a fan-shaped arrangement of peacock feathers that gradually opens before instantly returning to its starting position at the top of the hour, while the hours are displayed on a rotating mother-of-pearl ring. By combining an original mechanical display with exceptional decorative craftsmanship, the Lady Compliquée Peacock established itself as one of the most innovative and recognisable contemporary creations in haute horlogerie.
ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
The manually wound calibre 6901 is defined by its unconventional approach to displaying time, replacing static indications with an elegant retrograde mechanism that is constantly in motion. Its 242-component construction and 38-jewel architecture balance technical complexity with mechanical finesse, while a 50-hour power reserve sustains its operation. Circular graining on the mainplate and horizontal Côtes de Genève across the bridges reflect the meticulous finishing expected of a haute horology movement created for both performance and spectacle.
