Edox CO-1 Chronograph

The “Water Champions” decided to champion the art of crafting sturdy watches. One such set of timepieces is the Edox CO-1 collection. The CO-1 was specifically designed for powerboat racing that requires respectable amounts of water-resistance capabilities coupled with immense amounts of sturdiness. The first CO-1 was launched in 2006 and after 2 years, Edox became the official timekeeping partner for Class-1 World Powerboat Championship.

Features

The CO-1 is a highly specialised watch initially created for powerboat racing. The CO-1 houses a highly functional chronograph on the dial that is either placed horizontally or vertically. The timekeeping duties are executed by large luminescent hands. The CO-1 is also offered with a uni-directional rotating bezel with two pushers that are used to operate the chronographs. Apart from being a chronograph, these timepieces are also water-resistant upto 1000 meters. In most of the timepieces, the date window is fixed at the 4 o'clock marker but the CO-1 Carbon offers a day-date window at the 3 o'clock marker. The CO-1 Carbon also features a robust case made with lightweight carbon fibre.
