Doxa SUB 600T Whitepearl

History

In July 1983, two divers made a record by making the deepest caisson dive in history. The dive was 613 meters and the divers were wearing the Doxa SUB 1000. To celebrate this, Doxa decided to launch the SUB 600T. After a long hiatus, the Doxa SUB 600T was again launched in 2021.

Features

The Doxa SUB 600T is a little bit different from the rest of the timepieces under Doxa. The SUB 600T is more angular than chunkier and offers an insight into the era when Doxa was owned by the Aubrey Freres Company from Switzerland. Apart from the angular case, the staple features remain the same. Features such as the date window at the 3 o’clock marker or the ‘no-deco’ bezel retain the diving DNA of Doxa. The barrel-shaped 40mm case is made with stainless steel and is mostly brushed instead of polished. Another feature that separates the SUB 600T is the placement of the crown which is unusually situated at the 4 o’clock marker. The Doxa SUB 600T offers water-resistance of up to 600 meters, a tribute to the SUB-1000 that created the deepest caisson dive record.

Movement

Inside the Doxa SUB 600T, the timekeeping duties are handled by a reliable Selitta SW200 movement. The Swiss manufactured movement offers a power reserve of up to 38 hours and beats at 4 Hz.
